How you pay should fit your business.
Every engagement runs under one of three structures. Pick the one that fits your cash, your risk, and your timeline.
Fee-based
Fixed scope, fixed price, agreed before we start. Right if you want certainty and no open-ended commitment.
Revenue share
We earn a share of what we sell. Right if you want a sales function without a fixed cost.
Equity
We take a stake instead of a fee. Right if cash, not opportunity, is what's holding you back.
Fee-based fits a clear scope and a budget you already have.
You know the total cost before we start. Once the work is delivered, there's no ongoing tie. It fits a defined project: a Sales Motion Review, a sales process build, or a recruiting placement.
What to weigh: You pay regardless of results. It works best when you already know what you need.
Equity fits when cash is the constraint, not the opportunity.
No cash cost. We take a stake in the business instead. It fits a company with a proven product and market that can't yet fund a fee or a revenue share.
What to weigh: You give up a piece of ownership. It's a bigger, slower conversation involving your cap table and usually your attorney. We don't take it lightly. Neither should you.
Questions about how we work.
Can we combine structures?
Often, yes. A fixed fee for the initial build, paired with a revenue share once we're running it, is a common shape. We'll tell you honestly if a blend makes sense for your situation.
Who decides which structure fits us?
You do, with our input. We'll tell you plainly which structure we think fits your situation and why, but the decision is yours.
